Frequently Asked Questions
Are you pet friendly?
Yes! Our entire property is pet friendly, excluding the vacation home. The pet fee for cabins and glamping tents is $25 per night, per pet, and $10 per pet, per night for RV and tent sites.
Do you have wifi?
Yes, we have free basic wifi, and high-speed wifi for an additional fee. Although, we are located in the country, near a National Park, so don't expect 5G!
Where can I get gas?
The Crater Lake Junction Travel Center is about 13 miles south of us, and is located at the junction of Hwy 97 and Hwy 62. There is regular gasoline at the National Park, but the pump is only open a few months out of the year, during the summer.
Where can I charge my electric vehicle?
Right here at Crater Lake Resort! We have a Chargepoint Station and Tesla Charger for guest use!
Do you have a restaurant?
Crater Lake Resort does not have a restaurant, but we have a general store that is full of all your necessities, snacks, souvenirs, beer and wine, etc. Crater Coffee Company, The TP, Potbelly Cafe, El Rodeo, and Peak to Peak Restaurant are all located in Chiloquin, about 10 miles away. There are also options in the National Park, and in Klamath Falls.
When do you close for the winter?
We don't! We are open all year long, so if you love the snow, come see us in the winter months!
What else is there to do nearby, other than visiting CLNP?
There is a lot to do, but before you venture off the property, be sure to take our canoe out on Fort Creek; play some pickleball, horseshoes, or corn hole; browse our general store for goodies; and stroll our walking trail along the creek! Off property, depending on the time of year...Fort Klamath Museum, Collier State Park and Logging Museum, Crater Lake Zipline, Train Mountain Museum, Jackson Kimball State Park, Sky Lakes Wilderness Adventures (Kayak, bike, and snowshoe rentals) Annie Creek Sno-park, Two Rivers Art Gallery in Chiloquin,SpringCreekDayUseArea, WoodRiverWetlandsandWoodRiverDayUseArea, and much more!

Crater Lake Resort exceeded all my expectations! The cabin we stayed in was cozy yet spacious, with just the right amount of rustic charm. It was clear the staff put a lot of effort into keeping everything clean and well-maintained. The best part was how close we were to Crater Lake National Park—perfect for hiking and exploring during the day, and then unwinding by the campfire at night. The general store was a lifesaver for last-minute supplies too. My only small complaint is that the Wi-Fi was spotty at times, but honestly, it helped us disconnect and enjoy the nature around us. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Cancellation Policy and Change
Cancellation Policy - To make a reservation we require a deposit equal to the entire duration of your stay. Cancellations made 30+days from the day of arrival will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made 29-15 days from the day of arrival will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made 14 days or less from the day of arrival will not receive a refund.
Change Fees - There is a $15 free for any date change made to an existing reservation, at any time. There is a $50 change fee for any date change made to an existing reservation within 30 days of the reservation between Memorial Weekend and Labor Day Weekend.
Please Note, we do not offer refunds for weather related cancellations and concerns, unless we have to close the resort due to an emergency. We also do not offer refunds for late check-in, or early check out.
